Gems of Gaia was first established in 1988 as a wholesale and retail company specializing in handcrafted jewelry and later, candles.  It is owned by Cecilia Ray.  Under her guidance, it has developed a number of successful businesses.  It owned and operated Vision Quest Educational Center and Bookstore which was sold in 2005 and Gaia’s World which was sold in 2007.

Currently Gems of Gaia is the parent company for Gaia’s Live Trees, a retail source for containerized trees for special events including Christmas, Holidays and Birthdays.
